GPS CARER

Alzeheimer's disease is one of the main causes for elderly people becoming lost. In Poland it is estimated that the number of people over 65 years suffering from demention is about 340 000 and 200 000 among them suffer for Alzeheimer disease. Diseased people often lose touch with the environment and the sense of direction. Fainting, aches and pains may be very dangerous for them. Medical and other Public Services have a big problem with persons identification in such cases.

GPS CARER set consists of the transmitter (armband) – being given to the cared for person and the receiver – for the carer. The armband gives the carer information on the cared for person place of stay, which is seen on the map in the transmitter. It also gives the pulse measure and the time spent outside the home. In case of public services intervention and medical emergency it gives them information about the sick person, such as contact details, sickness and taken medicines info.
